I guess Taser thinks women are drawn in by color. They must know something though, because they’ve already sold out of these new colorful devices in Scottsdale, AZ, their home base. The Taser C2 is quite a bit more feminine-looking than the gun-shaped Tasers, too. Alright, let’s stop ooo-ing and ahh-ing over the pretty pink shocker thingy and talk logistics.

A Taser can save your life. If someone is approaching you in a threatening way, you can stop them dead in their tracks at up to 15 feet away. These things even come with a laser sight so that all you have to do is aim the red dot anywhere on the person’s body and fire…and voila! You have time to get away. Or scream your head off. Or both.

A Taser can save someone else’s life. What if you happened upon a mugging and the victim was losing the battle? While calling 911 is an excellent idea, what if you could somehow distract the mugger? Or what about a subject more near and dear to our female hearts: our families. Imagine that someone breaks into your house in the middle of the night. Some people are comfortable keeping guns in the house (and using them), others are not. Tasers are non-lethal. Stunning the intruder would give you time to get your family to safety.
