Tasers Work in Diverse Climates

Living on sandy beaches or mountain tops will no longer be inviting security concerns. Because of the way Tasers are made, they function from sea level on up to high altitudes. Anyone can travel and live anywhere on the planet with no consideration for the dependability and effectiveness level of their chosen protective device.

While extremes in temperatures are of serious concern with many other forms of protection, Tasers continue to function in temperatures from -20 degrees Fahrenheit up to 160 degrees. The propellant capsules, which are made of compressed nitrogen (an inert gas), continue to hold their charge, even when exposed to such extreme temperatures.

What that means for the average person interested in safety, especially when traveling through less secure areas, is that a Taser can be kept in the car. Though the Taser cannot be left in direct sunlight for prolonged periods, it can stand the heat buildup in a parked car and still provide protection when needed.

With the steady population growth in the southern tier of the United States, as well as vacation travels, the ability for anything to survive in the summer heat is of paramount consideration.

For the safety conscious, keeping a Taser in each family car should provide relief for at least one kind of summer heat.
