Pepper Spray Saves the Day

“When I finally decided to get myself some protection I settled on pepper spray because I was afraid of the high voltage of stun guns.”

That’s what the middle-aged female lawyer said about the non-lethal weapon that saved the day for her.

“I went to the usual gas station near my condo. It’s on a busy street, so I figured it would be pretty safe. Boy, was I wrong!”

“Last month I was filling up when a guy came around the back of my car. He shoved me to the side. I actually bounced off the pump. I dropped the handle and just looked at the guy.”

“Right then he reached out to take the keys from my hand. When he did, I raised my arm like I was going to give the keys to him, but I sprayed him in the face instead. He screamed and called me names, but he also started backing up.”

“I got in the car and drove across the street where I called the police. They showed up pretty quickly and took him into custody. When I told them what happened and how I handled it, the cops seemed pretty impressed. They also said it was a good thing I had used pepper spray instead of a stun gun at the gas station.”
