Lipstick Pepper Spray
It took the married woman a few moments to figure out what he meant to do.
They were sitting in her car outside a house on that week’s caravan, a tour organized by local realtors to view houses on the market. The event is a regular part of the real estate business, so she was not particularly concerned when one of her colleagues insisted on riding with her.
After seeing the final property, the guy stood outside her car talking on his cell phone long enough to allow the other cars to leave. They were on a dead end street, in the driveway facing the garage, and it was dusk. When he entered the car he started talking to her about topics inappropriate among co-workers unless they were already in an intimate relationship, which they weren’t.
Alarms were going off in her head, so she reached into her handbag and retrieved her Lipstick Pepper Spray. She flipped down the visor mirror, as if preparing to freshen her lipstick. She told the man to stop his dirty talking and get out of her car. Not only did he keep on talking, he also put a hand on her leg. She pushed his hand away and repeated her direction to get out of the car. Instead, he put his arm around her shoulder and began pulling her toward him.
By then she had removed the cap from her Lipstick Pepper Spray. She leaned back a bit to get a clear shot, then sprayed him right in the eyes. He screamed and fell back against the passenger door, both hands on his face. She reached over and released the door latch behind him.
As he fell backward she added a push which sent him out of the car and onto the ground. Without even closing the door, she started the car and drove away.
What would you have done?
