Widespread Use of Stun Guns Increases

Law enforcement officers around the world are calling for permission to use stun guns as they work to improve conditions for themselves and the members of the communities they are sworn to protect.

The old adage of “fire, ready, aim” doesn’t work anymore – if it ever really did. Communities are now calling for far more professional responses to possible threats than to just shoot their way out of the situation. Not only are community and family members bringing lawsuits against officers who kill or injure suspects, agencies are finally stepping up to the plate and policing their own employees. And it’s about time they did.

Vigilante-style law enforcement is no longer tolerated by the rank and file of America. Despite the popularity of movies about the old west, our current climate demands that laws be followed strictly. The public also demands that any possible wrongdoing by governmental agency representatives be investigated vigorously – and they don’t let up until that happens.
