Flashlight Stun Gun Saves Coed

It was dark and he was expecting an easy mark when approaching a young woman going to her vehicle in a remote area of the parking lot. However, she was well prepared and acted quickly, decisively – and effectively.

A young student emerged from the law library after putting in a long evening in the stacks. Even though she was loaded with books, laptop carrying case and handbag, she had her keys out and she carried a flashlight stun gun. Its bright beam lit her path as she headed for her vehicle.

When the would-be assailant sprang from behind a parked car and attempted to wrestle her purse and laptop case away from her, the victim kept her wits about her. She started screaming (and kept up the noise), took a swing at his face, and pressed her flashlight stun gun against his bare wrist, causing him to drop like a rock.
