No Need for a Stun Gun in Massage Parlor
Massage parlor patrons usually strip down. Last November Garry Trask bulked up by adding a stun gun to his outfit. He hauled it out stun gun during an altercation in that Blackpool establishment.
Trask went into the Candy Club on what he called “business matters,” though no one else seemed to know what they might have been. While inside he became abusive and threatening enough for the manager to be hailed.
According to prosecutor Andrew Long, “The manager came to see what was going on and the defendant started to rough him up. He was warned the police would be called.”
One of the workers was so frightened by Trask’s violent behavior that she fled the scene. When things were at their worst, he drew a stun gun. It was fully charged and he was firing the probes which were fairly crackling with electricity.
At that point the owner and an additional helper arrived and managed to take him outside, locking the door behind them. However, things didn’t end there.
As Trask walked away from the massage parlor he passed another woman from the same establishment and threatened her, too. Her reasonable response was to hide in a taxi company while Trask went back to the club and shouted even more threats.
Trask’s defender said he wound up with the stun gun because he had taken it away from someone in a separate altercation and that his having it in his possession was not premeditated.
Nevertheless, the courts were not amused. Detective Sergeant Chris Williams, of Blackpool CID, said “This is a terrifying experience for all involved and left those in the premises concerned for their own safety. Trask is a very dangerous man and the results of his actions could have been much worse. We’re happy that the courts have seen the seriousness of the incident and given him quite a lengthy custodial sentence.”
The moral of the story is: When in England, don’t pack heat – ever!
