Police End Bar Fight with Stun Gun

In Celina police officers needed to use a stun gun to stop a man who was determined to keep a bar fight active. Police arrived and got the man outside the club where he continued to want to fight. He just was not willing to cooperate with officers.

The man, Derick Gregory, had tried to push past officers at least three times. After his aggression could not be calmed the man was shocked with a stun gun. He was subsequently arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. There were a couple other men arrested from the same incident.

The option to use a stun gun is helpful for officers. It is not necessary for them to use force as they once did to subdue aggressive people. Men like Gregory, who refuse to cooperate or stop fighting, may have once forced officers to use more excessive force.
