Taser Used On Two Teenage Girls In Florida

Two teen girls decided there was a boy they were both willing to get into a fight over. The two high school students showed no signs of letting up until they were on the business end of a Taser.

The girls are both 18 years old and attend a high school in Florida. They did not appear to have used any type of weapon during their battle over the boy. The School resource officer attempted to break up the disturbance and was unable to separate the students; they refused to listen to his directions. A sheriff’s deputy arrived to help and that is when the Taser made its appearance. Once the Taser was used the girls lost their desire to fight and chose to comply with the deputy.

After being tased the girls were taken to a hospital. It is standard procedure to have anyone tased checked out. They were cleared and taken immediately to jail. Charges were filed against the two girls and a few others involved in the fight.

The use of the Taser stopped the fight immediately. The situation could have escalated and gotten out of control. The use of the Taser only affected the two girls immediately causing the problem. Fights can easily gather momentum and get out of control, the Taser was an excellent choice.

Hopefully, the girls will figure out non-violent ways to solve their differences. In years to come they may wonder why they ever went to jail over a boy! Hopefully the message to avoid fighting will be remembered.
