Pepper spray is one of the best options when it comes to personal protection. It is possible to get canisters that are easy to carry and easy to use. They are also very effective!
Recently, two women out walking after midnight had a little more adventure than they bargained for. A man grabbed one of the woman’s buttocks. He then proceeded to run around the block and returned to try to tackle her. The other woman walking with the victim sprayed the man with pepper spray. The man proceeded to run away and stay away. The best possible outcome was achieved through the use of pepper spray.
On the other hand, it is important to be responsible if you choose to keep pepper spray in your home. The spray is designed for personal protection. This is achieved through pain compliance, as well as runny, swollen eyes, difficulty breathing, and a multitude of other reactions.
Somehow a 13 year old Middle School student got a hold of a canister of pepper spray. The Pasadena student decided to spray several of his peers with the pepper spray. Initially, when the police were called they were under the impression that the call involved a hazardous materials spill.
It quickly became obvious that the problem originated with the pepper spray wielding student. The other kids who were sprayed were taken care of immediately. The attacker was taken away and will face charges including assault. The incident was fairly serious.
Pepper spray is very effective; therefore it is important to be responsible if you chose to carry it. The Pasadena students are not likely to forget the incident any time soon. The two women walkers are also likely to remember what pepper spray did for them, as well.
