The Pepper Spray Will Come Out If You Don’t Cooperate With the Police
Not long ago, a man named Shaun Taylor, of New Zealand, was riding his bike without a helmet on. This is against the law. A police officer told him to stop and get off of his bike. Shaun did so, but once the officer was out of site Shaun got back on his bike because he was late for work. The officer then pulled alongside of him and told him to stop. After stopping, an argument ensued, part of which was due to Shaun’s unwillingness to cooperate with the officer. He even refused to give the officer his name.
This was Shaun’s first big mistake and the beginning of the trouble he was about to bring on himself.
As the argument escalated and Shaun became more irate over the incident, the officer was left no choice but to pull out his pepper spray. He sprayed Mr. Taylor and then Mr. Taylor decided to try to flee.
After a short chase, the officer finally stopped Shaun by pinning his front wheel against an embankment.
Many people say that Shaun Taylor was a victim. But the police officer was only enforcing the law. Since Shaun Taylor apparently thought that he was above the law and didn’t need to follow the rules, he was invoking the wrath of the law. If only he would have cooperated with the officer and obeyed the laws of the land, things wouldn’t have gone so poorly for him. But now he is facing several charges and he got a face full of pepper spray.
