Stun Gun Saves Man from Himself

Life can be tough sometimes. Sadly, some people just can’t handle how life is going and they decide to act in an irrational way. When they do this they can hurt themselves and sometimes hurt others. Thanks to a stun gun though, one man was stopped from hurting anyone.

A 57 year old man from a town called Zionsville apparently had had a hard time recently. He had acted distraught and had made it known that he wanted to end it all to his family. Someone in his family was deeply concerned and called the police, informing them of his intentions to harm himself.

The police quickly came to the man’s house, but he was pulling out of his driveway right as the police were pulling up. They chased the man into the neighboring county, where the man’s father lived. Apparently he was going to his father for counseling. During this chase an officer was nearly hit by the upset man’s car, but thankfully, the man missed the officer.

When he pulled up to his father’s house, the police attempted to arrest him, but he just wouldn’t have it. He would not cooperate with the police and resisted arrest to the point that the police had to subdue him with a stun gun. The man now faces charges of resisting arrest and criminal recklessness.

Life may get rough, but does this mean that you have to end it or harm others? This man could have avoided a lot of trouble, including experiencing a stun gun if he just would have taken the time to talk with the police. Instead, he chose to make himself into a criminal.
