Stun Gun Takes Down a Football Player and a Man with Knives
Sometimes people do things for strange reasons, and at other times no one has any idea as to why a person would do the crazy things that they do. When people act out in strange ways, it’s nice to know that they can be taken down with a stun gun.
In Modesto, California, a man named Dustin Martinez went to a radio station and started to make a scene. His motives were unknown but his actions were clear to everyone. He broke a couple of windows in the station’s lobby where about a half dozen people were, including a 12 week old baby. Nobody was hurt, but the windows were still broken.
The employees of the station called the police and while they were waiting for them to show up, they tried talking to Martinez. He ended up breaking yet another window.
When the police arrived, Martinez refused to cooperate. Since he would not comply, they used a stun gun to get him under control. He was found to be carrying two knives.
While Martinez’s motives were unclear, he was sober. This was not the case with Alex Boone, a linebacker from Ohio State University.
After the game on Super Bowl Sunday, the police were called because a man was on a spree of destruction. He was jumping on cars and trying to punch out a tow truck windshield. He was also banging on people’s garage doors.
Apparently, Alex Boone had had a little too much to drink at the Super Bowl party that he had attended. His belligerent behavior landed him in trouble when the police showed up though. He would not calm down and so the police had to subdue him with a stun gun.
For whatever reason, people act crazy sometimes. Thankfully the police have stun guns.
