Pepper Spray Stops a Dangerous Man

I don’t know why people think that they can get away with attacking police officers. Don’t they know that they will get pepper spray sprayed in their face? I can’t think of any logical reason why someone would do it.

A man from Homer City was recently sprayed with pepper spray for trying to attack an officer. But that wasn’t his only misdeed. He had been driving drunk and trying to run another car off the road. He succeeded and then proceeded to run to the other car and start to choke her.

When the police pulled onto the scene, they stopped the man from choking the woman. Since the man was in a fighting mood, he proceeded to try to fight the police. So, they pulled out their pepper spray and sprayed him.

After they arrested him, they took him to the jail. While there, the man started to put something into his mouth. The officers in the jail stopped him and found that he was trying to swallow some pills; Valium to be specific. They searched his pockets and he had over thirty of them.

Thanks to the use of pepper spray, the officers were spared from being assaulted and they also helped prevent him from attacking the woman further. Pepper spray also helped them to bring in a criminal who was using prescription drugs that he didn’t have a prescription for.

Police use pepper spray for many instances like this. Pepper spray has proven to be a very useful law enforcement tool. While it effectively takes down criminals, it also helps keep the criminals’ lives safe.
