A Would-Be Robber is Stopped by a Stun Gun

Criminals do things that non-criminals would consider extremely stupid. These stupid things usually get the criminal in a lot trouble. Sometimes these criminals are subjected to painful zaps from a stun gun, just like Quinton Jacobs found out.

Jacobs must have been having money troubles because he decided to break into a house and rob it. I doubt that he did it just for fun. But no matter the reason why he was doing it, a police officer that saw him doing it only knew that Jacobs was breaking the law.

The officer confronted Jacobs. Upon seeing the officer, Jacobs fled from the house, so the officer followed. He caught up to Jacobs and started to wrestle with him.

Jacobs was so intent on escaping that he grabbed the officer’s gun and tried to shoot him with it. The gun went off, but no one was hit.

It was about this time that the officer’s partner showed up to find the two in a struggle. He pulled out his stun gun and zapped Jacobs with it, effectively ending the dangerous struggle. The officers then placed Jacobs under arrest.

It is sad that people feel they need to rob someone in order to survive. I am sure that Mr. Jacobs felt that he was a victim of some sort if he was driven to robbery in order to survive. But making someone else a victim doesn’t make things right in the world. As Quinton Jacobs found out, robbing someone doesn’t make things right in your own world.

He also found out that being zapped with a stun gun really hurts!
