Police Use Pepper Spray and Get the Bad Guys
People sure do think that they can get away with a lot. They misbehave and when the law comes along to bust them for what they’ve done, they think that fighting back will help them. All it really does is gets them a face full of pepper spray. Here are two stories illustrating my point.
The first one starts with an officer waiting to use a convenience store restroom. As he was standing outside the bathroom, he noticed the smell of crack cocaine coming from inside the bathroom.
When the man in the bathroom came out, the officer stepped into the bathroom and noticed drug paraphernalia. The officer then attempted to arrest the drug user but was met with resistance. The officer was left with no choice but to subdue the suspect with pepper spray.
In another story, a man had gotten in a fight outside of a club around 2:30 in the morning. The police were called and when they showed up, one of the officers tried to lead the angered man away from the scene. For some reason the man thought it was a good idea to punch the officer in the face.
Thankfully, the officer’s partner stepped in and sprayed the violent man with pepper spray. This stopped the man completely and enabled the police to get handcuffs on him and arrest him.
These are prime examples of people just going too far. If the officers hadn’t subdued their suspects with pepper spray, the suspects may have gotten away or the officers could have been hurt further.
