Stun Gun Proves Useful When Used or Not
These two stories really surprised me when I read them. Maybe they will surprise you too. Thankfully, in each story the police had a stun gun with them or things would have gotten out of hand; and I mean really out of hand.
In one story, a man was confronted by the police after a night of fairly heavy drinking. He had hidden a broken bottle in his jacket. When asked what he was hiding in his jacket, he told the police that there wasn’t anything hidden. Then he continued to act belligerent and verbally abusive toward the police.
This prompted the police to pull out their stun guns. The instant the man saw the red dot that is used for aiming, he began to cooperate with the police. He took the bottle out of his jacket. He was arrested, but later released.
The great thing is that the police didn’t need to use the stun gun. Just pulling it out was effective enough.
However, a man in California wasn’t as cooperative. In fact, he managed to sneak a gun into the jail after he was arrested.
Somehow, after Christopher Broussard was arrested, he managed to hide a pistol in his back brace. He had been arrested as a suspect for some recent car thefts.
While he was in the booking cage, he pulled out the gun that he had concealed and started firing. Thankfully, no one was hit by the bullets. But the police did hit Broussard with a jolt from a stun gun. Now he’s in a lot more trouble than he was for stealing cars.
