People on drugs do the craziest things. But thankfully there are Taser guns so that those crazy drug users can be stopped. I just read a story about a guy who got a hold of some drugs in jail.

An Arizona man named Rene Nino was in jail, though information about why he was there in the first place wasn’t released. At any rate, he was in jail. But somehow he got a hold of some PCP or crystal meth.

The jail officers noticed that Nino was awake in the middle of the night and was acting very strangely. A little after two in the morning, Nino wadded up some toilet paper, moistened it, and used it to cover the security camera that was in his cell.

The jail officers came to move him to a different cell. When the officers opened the door to his cell, Nino charged them and ran right passed them in a futile attempt to escape. He ran hard and fast but ran into difficulties when he ran into a steel door. Nino ran into it so hard that he actually caused minor damage to the door’s locking mechanism.

The officers caught up to Nino and tried to subdue him with a Taser. It took a few zaps from the Taser to get him subdued thanks to the drugs. Nino was then taken to a hospital and treated for being on meth or PCP.

If it weren’t for the Taser gun, the officers would have had a very difficult time subduing this maniac on drugs. They could have been seriously hurt and the inmate may have even hurt himself. Thank you Taser.
