Taser Guns Make Arrests Safer and Easier

There are criminals out there and they need to be arrested. Thanks to Taser guns, they can be stopped and arrested in a less violent way.

There was a man who made the news recently who had robbed two stores. One of them, he had robbed with some hedge clippers and the other store he robbed with a knife. The police were called and on their way to the second robbery, they spotted his vehicle.

A chase ensued. The police eventually forced the man to crash his car into a ditch. He jumped out of his car and an officer held him at gun point. The man started screaming at the officer to go ahead and kill him. Instead of granting this request, the officer incapacitated him with a stun gun and was able to arrest him safely.

In another story, a man was suspected of arson and assault on a 20 year old man. When the police arrived at his house, he didn’t answer. The man’s friend showed up and let the police in.

The police found that the man was hiding in the attic. He refused to come down and eventually forced his way onto his own roof. Then he tried to escape in a most elaborate way. He tried to escape by jumping from roof top to roof top.

Eventually he came down to ground level. That’s when an officer hit him with a Taser and stunned him. This enabled the police to arrest the man.

Without Tasers, more people would end up shot with real guns. This would result a many more deaths. Thanks to Tasers though, fewer people die.
