Taser Gun Subdues a Knife Wielding Maniac in Canada

Though there is a lot of controversy in Canada right now over whether Taser guns should be used or not, law enforcement agencies there are still using them. Thankfully the police in Winnipeg had them because there was a man who was a real threat to citizens.

Not long ago there was a man who apparently lost his grip on what is right and wrong. For some unknown reason, he assaulted another man in his home. That man fled to another house a couple blocks over, but the attacker wasn’t done with his violent streak.

The attacker followed the victim to that house. When the man who lived in the house the victim had fled to, came outside, the attacker confronted him. The man who had come outside was then stabbed by the attacker. The attacker then fled but was followed by witnesses.

A 54 year old man tried to stop the attacker. The attacker struggled with the man and ended up stabbing him several times in the torso. It was about that time that the police showed up in response to the first stabbing.

The police told him to drop the knife and give himself up but he refused. The police did as they were trained and pulled out their Taser guns and gave him a warning. He still refused so the police shot him. They then arrested him and he is facing some pretty serious charges.

Angry, knife-wielding people are a big threat to peaceful citizens. But thanks to a Taser gun, this man was subdued and arrested before he could hurt anymore people. The officers were kept safe and the man can now face justice in a fair trial.
