Pepper Spray Stops Two Thieves

If there is one thing that I hate, it is when people steal music equipment from musicians. I have had this happen to me and I think it is terrible. Musicians have a hard enough time making enough money to get music equipment. That is why it put a smile on my face when I read this story about two thieves who got faces full of pepper spray.

A DJ had put on a great show in Springfield, Massachusetts at a club called the Zone. The club had closed and it was time to pack up and go home. The club owner was helping the DJ load all of his equipment up and take it to his car.

After they had made their first trip and loaded the equipment into the car, they locked it and went to get another load. Once they were out of sight, two men in their twenties broke into the car and started to steal the music equipment.

The club owner and the DJ came back sooner than expected and they caught the two thieves in the act. The police were called and a struggle ensued. It isn’t clear who started the rumble though the club owner had been warned by one of the thieves that they had a gun. But when the police showed up they had to use pepper spray to subdue the two thieves and no gun was found.

It is a good thing that there was no gun. It is also a good thing that the police had the pepper spray so that they could quickly subdue the criminals and arrest them. Now they have to face the justice of the courts.
