Pepper Spray Needed to Subdue Elderly Couple
When an officer of the law tells you to do something, you should probably do what they say. Don’t put up a fight or you may get sprayed with pepper spray. The police are here to try to help, but if you get in their way and refuse to cooperate they are authorized to take action. A couple found this out the hard way.
62 year old Raymond Gee and his 63 year old wife, Mary Ann Gee, were sitting in their car. But their car happened to be parked in front of a driveway. When the police told them to move their car, they refused. After the police tried to persuade the Gees to move their car several times to no avail, they told Mr. Gee that they would have to arrest him.
At this point, Gee started to put up a fight. He refused to comply with what the officers were telling him to do and he started to take swings at them. This prompted them to use their less lethal weapons. One of the officers pulled out their pepper spray and sprayed him. He went temporarily blind but still tried to attack the officers, so they used a Taser to subdue him.
As they were placing Mr. Gee under arrest, his wife tried to come to his rescue. She started to attack to police. Unfortunately for her, that is illegal! The officers also used pepper spray to subdue her.
The couple was taken to jail and is currently awaiting trial.
It doesn’t matter what age you are. If you fight the police you are just asking for trouble and probably a face full of pepper spray.
