Lunatic Subdued with Stun Gun after Shooting Officer and Two Others

Usually when people get zapped with a stun gun by the police, it is when they are acting unruly and will not cooperate. This man was really fortunate because he got zapped with a stun gun instead of shot with a sidearm. This really shows some self control on the part of the Louisville, Kentucky police department.

A female officer was called to a domestic disturbance. When she arrived, an altercation started between her and the man involved. He wrestled her gun away from her and shot her twice in the leg. Though, during the scuffle, she managed to shoot him once but the reports never said where she hit him.

After shooting the officer, the man didn’t stop. I guess he figured that he was already in trouble, so he would make the most of it.

The man, whose name has not been disclosed, then shot his girlfriend with the officer’s gun. He then went next door to his neighbor’s house and shot him too. It was about that time that the police showed up, responding to the female officer’s call.

The police acted quickly and used a stun gun to subdue the crazed man.

The female officer who was shot twice in the leg is in stable condition. The two other victims were taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

The maniacal man was extremely fortunate that the police didn’t shoot him. After shooting an officer and two others, the police would have been justified to shoot the man dead on the spot. However, the police aren’t around to deliver that kind of justice. They used self control so that this man could face true justice in the courtrooms.
