Stun Gun Subdues Crazed Brother-in-Law
We would do nearly anything for our family members, take them in if they needed a place to stay or feed them if they needed food. However, what if the person you were helping out wasn’t so grateful? What if they turned on you? Well, this happened not too long ago to a woman in Ohio. Luckily, the police had a stun gun and brought the man down.
Terence Barnwell, 36, was staying with his sister-in-law. Barnwell’s mother had given his sister-in-law money to help cover the cost of him staying there. One night, Barnwell and his sister-in-law had an argument and she kicked him out. He got angry because he felt he was entitled to some of the money his mother had given her, but she wouldn’t give him any.
A few days later he hid in the back of her car before she left for work. When she arrived, he followed her into the backroom of the store where he proceeded to beat her. A female co-worker heard the commotion and went to see what was wrong. She tried to help his sister-in-law but was also punched in the face by Barnwell. She then called the police.
Barnwell took $16 out of his sister-in-laws pockets and then fled out the back door. By then the police had arrived and when they called out for him to stop, he started to run. The officers were able to catch up to him and subdue him with a stun gun. This man needed to be taken into custody and thanks to the officers and their stun guns, he was.
