Pepper Spray Used When Man Swings Baseball Bat at Officers

There are a lot of stupid people out there. I mean, some people things and I just can’t fathom why they would even entertain the thoughts of doing them. One man did something that I would never do, and police ended up using pepper spray on him.

A man in Youngstown, PA had quite the history of troubles with the law. He was to blame for all of his troubles, obviously, and he has just added some more troubles to his list. The other night, for some unknown reason, barged into a neighbor’s house with a gun. He started to threaten two of the men in the house with his gun, which wasn’t very neighborly of him.

When he left, the two men called the police. Soon, the police arrived and started to talk with the two threatened men. Then, Quay Smith, the man who had made the threats, came outside with a baseball bat. While the two men were talking with the police, Smith again started to threaten them.

It was at this point that Smith went way over the top. After threatening the men, he came at the police with his baseball bat. He kept swinging at them, trying to seriously hurt them. The police responded pretty reasonably and used pepper spray to stop him.

A baseball bat can be a lethal weapon very easily. One hard smack to the head can do some pretty serious damage. Thankfully though, the police had pepper spray and were able to safely defend themselves and take in a man bent on destruction. I’m sure that the two men who were threatened were pretty grateful for the pepper spray as well.
