TASER Stops Drunk Woman With Kids in the Car

There are some crazy and irresponsible people out there. Thankfully, when these people endanger other people, police officers have TASER guns to help protect themselves and the general public. Recently, one woman found out just how a TASER can be used to stop a criminal.

A woman from Burnsville, Minnesota was at a theater with her kids, when an employee noticed that she was acting very strangely. The employee called the police out of concern. The mother left with her children and started to drive off. Unfortunately, she was drunk. She was drunk and was driving with her kids in the car!

The police eventually tracked her down and pulled her over. They had her do a sobriety test and a breathalyzer test. She failed it horribly. When the police tried to arrest her, she put up a big fight. The officers had to pull out a TASER and shoot her with it.

After she had been incapacitated, you’d think she’d learn her lesson. But when the police put her into the car, she kicked one of them in the face.

This wasn’t the first time that she had been driving drunk. She had already been arrested four times for driving drunk. So, she is being charged with two felonies. One of them being for driving drunk so many times, and the other is fourth-degree assault. She is also going to be facing some misdemeanors, but luckily for her, she will not have any extra charges tagged on for endangering her kids.

People do stupid things sometimes. When that happens, I’m glad that the police have TASERs so that they can keep us, themselves, and the criminals safe so that they can face justice.
