TASER Used When Chasing Two Burglars
You never know what is going to happen. People are doing crazy things all the time so it’s always best to expect the unexpected. One man’s car was being broken into which led cops to catch two men who were wanted for multiple burglaries.
In Cottonwood Heights, Utah, the police got a call from a man whose car was being broken into at a Wal-Mart parking lot. Police discovered that it was the same two men who were wanted for burglarizing 13 other cars the previous night.
The two men were chased by the cops in a vehicle that they had stolen. The chase ended at a near-by gas station where the two men tried to flee from the officers. One man who looked about 30-years-old was caught not too far away from the gas station. The other man, who was around the age of 20, was subdued by police with a TASER just a few blocks away.
Police said that the car was full of items that were stolen the previous night. Police also said that they believed the items were going to be sold so the two men could buy more drugs.
It’s a good thing that the police showed up in time and caught those two guys. The man whose car they were breaking into could have gotten injured, as well as other people who might have tried to stop them. Luckily, the police used their TASER to apprehend the offenders and both of them are now in custody. Anyone who says that TASERs don’t help in law enforcement should think again
