Pepper Spray Used After Pit Bull Attack

If you have ever been attacked by an animal then you know just how terrifying it can be, especially if the one being attacked is a young girl. Some animals can be downright vicious. Recently, the police had to use pepper spray to help subdue an animal that lost control and started to attack other animals and people.

The police received a call one evening about a violent dog attack. A pit bull had snapped and had become vicious. When police arrived, they found that two little girls had been attacked by the dog and one of them was bleeding. After the pit bull had attacked the little girls, it noticed a small dog that was being walked by its owner. The pit bull turned on the little dog and mauled it.

Soon after the police arrived, the pit bull tried to attack one of the officers. Quickly reacting, the officer pulled out his gun and fired, hitting the dog in the hind leg. After being shot, the dog retreated to someone’s back yard.

Animal control soon arrived and tried to rope the dog. Though the pit bull had been shot already, it was still behaving very violently. The animal control officer had to use pepper spray in order to get the dog subdued enough to put a rope around its neck and into his vehicle.

Dogs can make great pets, but sometimes they just go insane and become a threat to people and other animals, like this one did. When that happens, something needs to be done to stop them. Thankfully, the animal control officer had pepper spray and other tools to keep this dog from attacking again.
