Woman Waving Large Knife in the Street Subdued with Stun Gun

When people get a crazy notion to wave a large knife about in public, they should expect to get into trouble. In fact, they should presume that they may very well get seriously hurt. One woman found out just how seriously you can get hurt if you do just that when the police used a stun gun on her.

Nobody knows why she did it, but she did. A 55 year old woman went out in public with a very large knife and started to wave it about while standing on the sidewalk. Needless to say, the police were called. When they arrived they immediately started to redirect pedestrian traffic and tried to get her to put down the knife.

As the police tried to negotiate with her, she started to swear at the officers and threaten them. When she started to walk toward the police with her knife, they drew their TASER stun guns, but didn’t fire. Then, a man from the crowd charged the woman and tried to wrestle her to the ground. The officers were worried for the man’s safety, so one of them fired his stun gun.

When it was fired the woman fell to the ground, hitting her head on the pavement. She suffered serious head injuries and was taken to the hospital. She was then arrested.

It may sound callous, but I don’t feel sorry for the woman. She may have gotten hurt, but that’s what happens when you do something crazy. I am just glad that the police were able to stop her before she seriously hurt someone.
