Murder Suspect Claims Self Defense and Admits to Killing One of Two Men
There are some pretty crazy people in the world. Some of those people think that killing other people is a reasonable option. Though the courts understand the right to self defense, it isn’t always easy to prove that that is the reason for killing someone else. One man in Bakersfield, California who has been arrested for murder is dealing with that problem himself.
A man who is accused of killing two other men, says that the authorities have it all wrong. He admits that he killed one of the men, but denies killing the other one. He claims that he and his friend that he only knew by the name “Crow” were hanging out in Crow’s apartment when things got out of hand.
While they were sitting in the apartment, another man came in and started a dispute with the two friends. When the man was asked to leave, he refused. They urged him to leave and, according to the suspect, he ended up stabbing Crow to death. He then threatened to stab the suspect also.
Feeling that his life was in danger, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the man who allegedly killed his friend. The man died. Someone had called the police and the suspect was pinned with both of the deaths.
The suspect is still awaiting trial, but he feels confident that the truth will be revealed. He believes that the jury will find that he acted in self defense and had nothing to do with the death of his friend, Crow.
If the suspect’ story is true, then I wish him the best of luck. “The Truth will set you free.” I hope that the jury will see the truth, no matter what it may be, and that justice will be served.
