Dog Owner and Dog Get Zapped with TASER

Dogs can make wonderful pets. They are loyal and many of them can do tricks. They are amazing animals and any dog owner will admit that they are a lot smarter than they appear. However, it is a tragedy when these brilliant animals are trained for violence. One dog owner had done just that and both he and his dog received a shock from a TASER.

There had been a street fight in Westbrook, Maine and the police had been called. When the police showed up, everyone ran their own ways. However, there was one man that let the officers know what he thought of them. He shouted profanities at them and made threats.

He then fled from the scene with officers in pursuit. He sought shelter in his own apartment. The police demanded that he give himself up, but he refused. He then commanded his pit bull terrier to attack the officers. Thinking quickly, one of the officers pulled out his TASER and shot the dog with it before it could attack them. The other officer did the same and soon fired the stun gun on the dog’s owner.

The man was arrested and charged with refusing to submit to arrest, as well as criminal threatening and disorderly conduct. An additional charge may be given to him for training and keeping a dangerous dog.

Thank god the officers were carrying TASER and they were able to stop both the dog and the man without causing any permanent damage. Imagine if the police didn’t have their TASERs?

The reason for the street fight is unknown, but it probably shouldn’t have been happening in the first place. Violence is trouble that only leads to more trouble. The man discovered this the hard way. He poisoned his dogs mind with his own poisoned mind. Hopefully, this experience will lead him toward a new, healthier minded path.
