Man Choking Woman Feels TASER

Police officers found themselves employing a TASER device to subdue a man, who thought he had been hit with a baseball bat, after he was alleged to be found choking a woman.

In the early hours of Friday morning, a man who witnessed the crime saw the man in question choking a woman in a domestic incident. In a bid to come to the woman’s aid he struck the man in the back of the head with a baseball bat.

Police who had been called to the scene found themselves confronted by the violent man who believed they were the ones to have hit him in the head with the bat. As a result of this police were prompted to quickly utilize their TASER weapon on him to gain control of him.

The man who was choking the woman was later taken to a nearby hospital with charges against him that were pending. The extent of his injuries were not life threatening. The woman did not receive any hospital treatment, nor was anyone hurt as a result.

Regrettably domestic abuse is something that many people deal with; whether it’s abuse between a husband and wife, or boyfriend and girlfriend, it exists. However there are ways that a person can defend themselves if they are a victim of abuse.
