Stun Gun Used to Apprehend Armed Robber

Police arrested a man and woman with the assistance from a stun gun device when they attempted to perform an armed robbery outside a retail store.

The 22-year-old man involved was charged and arrested with attempting common law robbery, while the 28-year-old woman involved was arrested after she was accused of helping the common law robbery take place.

Witnesses to the scene reported that the young man had employed a stun gun device on a woman who was outside the shop as he tried to steal from her.

At the time of the incident the confronted woman was leaving the retail store where she worked in the morning when the man who was wearing a mask and cap utilized the device. Often operated for self defense the tool was applied on her a number of times as she yelled and screamed for help.

However when the man fought for the purse belonging to the woman for some minutes, he was seen running off minus anything stolen. It wasn’t long though before police finally caught up with the two suspects involved where they had to utilize a stun gun on the man after he resisted his arrest.

Before being taken to jail, he was initially checked out at a medical center.

Thankfully the targeted woman in this incident was able to walk away from the scene without suffering any serious injury. Of course the only harm she will be feeling is the fear of being targeted again.

In order to prevent this from happening, purchasing her own self defense device such as a stun gun would be extremely useful at maintaining her safety. Even though she was targeted with such a device, that isn’t to say that all people who own one will be utilizing it in the same way.

The only way for the victim to move on from this is to assert herself in a confident manner, which will portray her fearless side. Of course what goes around comes around; and it wasn’t long before the masked armed robber soon received his just desserts by experiencing the shock of a stun gun when police finally caught up with him.
