Stun Gun Used in Lottery Ticket Robbery

Officers in Beverly Hills are searching for a thief who stole lottery tickets from a gas station. During the robbery which took place in the early hours of the morning, the thief stunned one of the clerks with a stun gun device as he made his get away.

According to reports the clerk initially noticed a person inside the shop stealing lottery ticket scratch cards while he was taking trash outside.

As a result, the store clerk went inside to confront the man, but he was met with the stunning device as the thief ran off with several hundred dollars of lottery cards. A couple who had pulled up to refill their car were able to follow the suspect where they say him get into a waiting car.

Unfortunately, they weren’t able to successfully get a license plate; however the couple was able to relate to officers that the suspects were driving a dark colored Ford Taurus. Furthermore, the thief is described as a white man roughly five feet eight inches tall, who was wearing a white mask.

This is the latest incident that has involved a stun gun during a robbery; and regrettably it won’t be the last.
