Burglaries in Leicestershire Prompt Police Warning

Since August 22 of this year, there have been 21 properties broken into in Leicestershire’s Charnwood in England, while 19 have occurred in Birstall. As a result of these recent burglaries, Leicestershire Police have announced simple ways that residents can take in order to prevent these burglaries from continuing.

These include making sure that all doors and windows are securely locked; in addition to making sure that any valuables are kept out of site.

While officers continue to search for those responsible for the burglaries, these precautionary measures taken by the public will also help to prevent them from happening.
