Facebook, however, has commented on this news by stating to its users that the three men who were arrested had utilized a link on a friend’s page who had updated their profile that they would be leaving town.

Of course, nowadays, we all have to be extremely careful what it is that we put up on our social networking profile pages, and that includes what we type into our status updates. In this day and age, you never know who could be watching your page.
