Intruders Break Into Couple’s Home

A Limestone County couple were shocked to find themselves woken up by two intruders as they broke into their home early Tuesday morning.

Limestone County police said that two masked men entered the couple’s home where they were beaten and forced to access a safe for the intruders who stole several guns from the property.

Police say that the armed burglars then locked the couple in their bathroom before fleeing from the area. After the couple managed to free themselves they called 911 where police arrived on the scene to investigate.

Of course, one way this situation could have been averted is if the couple had owned their own form of protection in the shape of a TASER device. If this had been the case then the situation may have proved extremely different.
