The Case of An Unwelcome Night Visitor

At night in bed the last thing you worry about as you drift off to la-la land is the possibility that your home may be the next target for a burglar to enter. When officers arrived at the scene the victim explained that she was sleeping when she heard the noise of an individual she didn’t know walking around in the apartment. However, the intruder didn’t make it in, as she had locked her door.

Even though officers checked the apartment they didn’t find any suspects inside. Although they did notice an open window in one of the roommates’ bedrooms, in addition to several items located near the window which had been knocked over while someone climbed inside.

Who this mystery night visitor was and what they were after is not clear, but what is clear is the lady who heard the burglar escaped without incurring any harm. Of course, this is not always the case, and could have been completely different if her door wasn’t locked.
