Life of Crime Man Receives Jail Sentence
A man who chose a life of crime as a way of living has received a five year jail sentence after his sixth conviction for house burglaries.
The 34-year-old man pleaded guilty at Warwick Crown Court in England to three charges of burglary at homes he had targeted in Solihull. Furthermore, he asked that five additional offences be taken into consideration while admitting that he was in breach of a community sentence.
In March and despite his record, the 34-year-old was given a community sentence when he appeared for his fifth burglary conviction at Wolverhampton Crown Court. However, on the night of July 10 he subsequently broke into a house in Solihull, where he stole a TV and other property amounting to £600.
The next day he then broke into a different home, managing to escape with £800 of stolen property. On that same day he then targeted a third home, but on this occasion he was forced to leave empty handed after he was confronted by the householder who was still awake upstairs.
Before judges he described himself as an individual who chose to live his life by crime.
When it comes to home property it is important that home owners have some form of protection they can rely on if they should find themselves confronted with an unwanted visitor. One way of increasing house protection, apart from installing security alarms, is to purchase a TASER device.
Quick, easy and powerful to use, the self defense device has been designed with safety in mind making it an ideal tool to own.
Not only that, but simply knowing that you have something close by will greatly increase your confidence when it comes to subduing a burglar. Compared to a firearm, those who are holding a TASER weapon are less likely to be hesitant when it comes to employing the unit, simply because they know the risks involved are nonexistent compared to a gun.
It’s your home and your belongings, therefore, you shouldn’t have to fall victim to a burglar targeting your home in order to steal large sums of property value while you are sleeping. Taking the necessary safety precautions to begin with will only prevent such an event from occurring.
