Increase of TASER Devices on Campus

After recent attacks on the Sacramento State Campus more students are protecting themselves with self defense tools such as TASER devices.

An outlet that sells self defense tools is seeing an increase in the number of sales when it comes to non-lethal stunning tools as students take the necessary precautions that will prevent them from becoming the next attack victim.

As these tools are non-lethal students are gratefully turning their attention to them in order to boost their safety on campus. However, while many are opting to avoid purchasing a TASER weapon for their safety, it is still something they should consider.

While walking in large crowds is possible to maintain student safety there will be times when crowds are limited and students may find themselves walking back to their dorms during the dark nights with no one else around that they know of.

In situations such as these the knowledge of having a form of protection on hand will become a great investment particularly if you should find yourself confronted with an attacker. No student should have to worry about their protection on school grounds, but in some instances there are cases of student attacks by those also taking classes or those who find their way onto university grounds.

While there may be no need for a TASER device or martial art skills to be employed, it is much better to have these at your disposal as no student will ever know when they may require them for their protection. University life should be a time that is filled with meeting new people, learning new things and developing as a person; there should be no need to have the added stress factor of wondering whether or not you are going to be the next attack victim as you walk back to your dorm after a late class.
