Good Samaritan Aids Victim while Police Employ TASER Device on Suspect

One man has found himself in jail after a man was stabbed in the abdomen in Surrey.

Police were initially called to a home in the early hours of the morning by a motorist who had stopped to assist a man in distress. The victim in his 30s, had initially gone from door to door in a bid to get help. He was finally able to flag down the good Samaritan motorist who called 911.

After being taken to hospital, he was later released to be able to recover at home.

With regard to the suspect, the man in his 50s was subdued by a TASER device because he was being uncooperative with police orders. According to police, both the men knew each other; however, no links to gangs or drugs have yet been determined.

When it comes to police work it is necessary for them to have a form of protection on hand in order to defend themselves and members of the public from harm.
