Police Employ Stun Gun on Man in Driveway
Once on the ground, three officers were forced to wrestle the man by placing restraints on him.
According to a report available on January 6th, the 51-year-old was taken into custody for resisting arrest and fleeing as well as criminal trespass on Boxing Day.
The man’s arrest originated from the fact that he continued to enter a bar despite the fact that he was banned from the premises. A bar employee explained that the man had continued to enter the bar to see his ex-girlfriend, a 41-year-old woman. The employee went on to say that his attentions were not appreciated by the woman in question.
Orland Hills Police explained that Tinley Park Police had originally found the man at his home; however, he wouldn’t answer his door. After returning to the bar, he only headed for home when Orlan Hills Police arrived on the scene.
According to officers, the man failed to acknowledge the presence of emergency and police lights behind him. As a result, he pulled into his subdivision, followed by his driveway where he activated his automatic garage door and parked his vehicle before leaving his garage.
Before activating the police stun gun, the 51-year-old was warned three times.
