TASER Device Employed on Hostile Man

Officers arrived at the Gold Bar after they received a call that a man was being disorderly at the bar.

The 25-year-old man involved was faced with charges of refusing to leave the area in addition to breaking two pool cues. Once officers tried to take him into custody he became combative towards them.

After the man failed to comply with the demands from police and tried to flee the area, an officer employed a TASER device on him once outside the bar.

As a result of officers employing a self defense device they were able to effectively subdue a man who was behaving in a disorderly manner. Not only were they able to achieve the results they wanted, but they were also able to do so without injuries being a factor that other devices may have brought about.

These days, the employment of TASER devices within the police department are essential when it comes to police duty. Not only do they allow an officer to do their job without worrying about possible injuries, but they also allow an officer to successfully protect the public which is essentially their role in life.

Having a device that officers can rely on is important particularly if they require instant action at a moment’s notice. Gone are the days when brute force was required in order to apprehend a suspect. These days, brute force is no longer required which means that officers are able to take their suspects into police custody in a quicker time which means that officers can spend more time on the streets warding off crime and protecting what is important.
