Attacks in Russia Kill Policeman and Cattle-breeder
A spokesman for the republic’s Interior Ministry, explained that the cattle-breeder had been shot to death after an insurgent became angry that the victim would not make a contribution to the rebel movement. The policeman was killed after an armed attacker forced his way into his home where he subsequently opened fire.
While Kabardino-Balkariya sees far less violence that the republics of Dagestan, Chechnya and Ingushetia, attacks are still witnessed that occur from insurgents and criminals.
In Chechnya, a roadside bomb exploded which killed one civilian and wounded several others. The victims had been travelling home in a horse-drawn wagon when the blast initially went off. It is well know that Chechen insurgents generally employ roadside bombs to injure police and soldiers.
This is an essential tool that many people are utilizing on a daily basis whether in the law enforcement or when members of the public want a device they can rely on that will increase their protection when they need it the most.
If a potential attacker sees that you can protect yourself they will be less likely to target you which is what you want.
