Sword Wielding Man Subdued by Stun Gun

Officers in Indiana found themselves confronted with a sword wielding man after refusing to leave his permissions as it filled with smoke during a fire he is believed to have set. As a result of his non-compliance with authorities they employed a stun gun on the man.

According to police the 50-year-old man wouldn’t leave his home when emergency personnel were called to respond to a fire at the property.

When police arrived on the scene, the man was found to be hiding a sword behind his back. When asked to drop the weapon he refused. As a result, a struggle ensued between officers and the man in question which subsequently saw him being stunned by the self defense device.

A fire chief on the scene at the time explained that the 50-year-old had set several items in his home on fire; however the flames had dissipated by the time firefighters had arrived on scene.

Because of his actions authorities are seeking charges against him which include resisting police arrest and for criminal recklessness.
