Innovative Plans to Keep Clubbers Safe at Night
The team, which is led by the London fire brigade, makes unannounced visits to clubs and pubs during their busiest times. Clubbers will find inspectors on patrol throughout the evenings and late at night. They will also be working on weekends and during public holidays.
The partnership will also be working alongside, police, fire officers as well as the council’s licensing unit.
The idea is for the team to see and understand how managers are doing when it comes to looking after the safety of the public, particularly when venues are full and staff are busy.
After all, the aim of the team is to make sure that people can enjoy a night out in Croydon without having to worry about their safety in the process. For the team it is all about putting the public first by making sure businesses reach the high standards of public safety.
