Police Employ Stun Gun on Violent Man
Police responded to the home of a resident who informed officers that the suspect was intoxicated and refused to leave the home when asked. While officers were talking to the resident the young man left through a side door. When police asked if wanted a ride home he refused, stating his dislike for police.
Ten minutes later, police found themselves once again responding to a call at the resident’s home. The resident explained that the 22-year-old man had returned and subsequently broken the front window of a car that was located in the driveway.
After officers left they were able to quickly find their suspect a few blocks away where they tried to stop him. He refused and was reported to continue walking. It wasn’t long, however, before they were able to handcuff the individual.
Once handcuffed he then went limp which forced police to drag him to the police car. While they were attempting to put him in he kicked and struggled with officers. As a result, a stun gun was employed on the man in order to prevent him from struggling further.
It is also reported that he repeatedly spat at officers as he was taken away to the city jail.
