Man Is Subdued with Pepper Spray After He Attacks Police
The man in question was being followed by a police helicopter for around 30 minutes as he sped away in a stole car in Auckland. When he finally discarded the car where he also left behind a loaded gun, he employed a metal bar on police who attempted to apprehend him.
The drama initially began when the suspect was seen driving in an unsafe manner. However, while police didn’t chase the man they did have a police helicopter watching him from the air.
As police listened in to the helicopter and trailed behind at a distance they saw that the man was driving in an unsafe manner and was seen driving through red lights, going round the roundabout the wrong way and going through road works.
Because of his dangerous actions police then proceeded to follow him where they attempted to pull him over. However, it wasn’t long before the suspect then sped off whereby a police chase ensued.
Once the suspect then discarded the stole vehicle he was driving he was then subdued by the self defense canister after attacking police with a metal bar.
