Self Defense Class Raises Funds for Wounded Warriors
Located at the Krav Maga Studio, participants learnt how to protect themselves from armed attackers during the class. Essentially, what made this different from other self defense classes was the fact that all the proceeds would be going to the Wounded Warriors Project.
In order to show their appreciation for the many men and women who go overseas as they protect our lives from harm, the Krav Maga Studio donated $3,000 to the Project.
Simply knowing the basics is all that is required, as these moves can prove extremely effective when they are executed in the right way.
Not only that, but if you can do it for a good cause as well you will know that you are contributing to a worthwhile charity or project whilst learning the necessary skills that will protect you if you should find yourself a target.
If people know that they are contributing to a good cause they are more than likely to put money towards it and they will have the added bonus of learning safety skills in the process too.
