Melbourne's Biggest Problem is Tackling Street Crime

The Herald Sun newspaper in Melbourne undertook a survey which asked residents what they would do to make Melbourne a better place. Just under 30 per cent answered that they would cut street crime.

Second was to improve public transport while reducing the amount of nightclubs and bars came in at third place.

These results come after a week debate that saw prominent members of the community talking with residents about what thought about the quality of life in the city was. With the poll still open over 5,300 readers have taken part in the survey so far.

Of course, if residents are thinking about how they can increase their safety they should turn their attention to the many self defense devices that are now widely available to increase a person’s safety in a non-lethal manner.

When it comes to cutting street crime that is something that requires time and the correct measures in order to reduce the number of crime and to answer residents questions in order to do so. As a result of this, it is necessary for residents to make sure that they have a device that they can rely on should they require it.

After all, it’s much better to be protected with a self defense device that is non-lethal compared to having no protection on hand at all.
